    Cheaper to drill a well. I've been on one for 25 years with a water softener/purification system here in Canton. Well cost $2,500 to drill and each year water salt runs me about $100.00.

    Yeah it might be but the taste of city water is 100X better than well water.

    People might want to know a LOT more about geology/geography before
    they throw around that well option for drinking water.
