"Detroit City Councilman Scott Benson was arrested Sunday by police in Southfield.
Benson was arrested on suspicion of drunk driving, according to published reports.
The city councilman was still in police custody on Monday morning, ABC's Detroit affiliate WXYZ-TV reporter."
