yeah the juxtaposition of promoting capitalism in a supposedly Christian-based country [[at least the legalistic Xtians say that) is too much for THIS critical thinker to bear.

IF companies were run by individuals liable for what the firm does, and those individuals could be counted on to make ethical and moral choices with their capital...and pay their workers a healthy wage [[if not include them in the ownership of the company, sharing the wealth)...then perhaps I could take the pro side...but the American version of capitalism has degraded so poorly I don't think it will survive.

As it sits today, I don't think it should. It is too big, so it should fail.

But they will start another war instead...
