I know that this is within the footprint of the entertainment zone, but I'm still kind of surprised that apparently it will be developed.

Got to be good, good news.

My assumption is that some of the 'outlying' or 'fringe' areas of the entertainment zone wouldn't be developed immediately or even for many years.

I wonder if the development plans are within the next 3 - 5 year or longer?

At some point in time that area west of Cass and between Ledyard and Temple will become important because that area is adjacent to the park and the Masonic Temple.
