the Detroit zoological park fit in the possible selling of assets of the City. Who owns the property the zoo sits on, the animals, their habitat and surroundings? Is in run AND owned by the Zoological Society.

See lots of talk about DIA, previous talk about Belle Isle, but nothing about the Detroit sitting in Royal Oak?

If we could somehow get China to buy the Belle Isle Zoo then maybe we could keep a Picasso. Maybe I'm thinking too big but they are buying up stuff sight unseen.
