Once again, George Jackson has blocked plans to redevelop the old Tiger Stadium site into a youth baseball facility - this time, an academy backed by MLB. He called it a scam because MLB would only put up some of the money, with the rest being raised locally [[wait, doesn't this happen all the time with projects?).
