Sstashmoo, putting everything you say into a nutshell ..... we, Americans, are pretty much helpless and hopeless.

Just to make it clear, our government - the United States Federal level, State level agencies, and County level municipal government are carrying out policies that put immigrants at an advantage. These advantages range from special treatments at community colleges and universities all the way to the private sector such as Quiznos, Subway, Dunkin Donuts, Marathon Gas, BP Gas, Speedway Gas, Shell Gas, Beaumont Hospital, Dry Cleaning Business Owner Association, Nail Salon Business Owner Association, Ford Motor Company and pretty much the entire spectrum of corporate America.

Holy Mother of God ! If "Americans" aren't doom with all that against us, it will probably take a giant meteor to hit the earth and wipe humankind away for good. I mean ..... we are talking about a conspiracy of government policies of biblical proportion.

Is there anything we can do at all, Sstashmoo? Anything whatsoever? Recall all our elected officials, perhaps? What can we possibly do against such a force?

So, after 3 pages in this thread, you are not giving anybody any call-to-action or any steps to solve this overwhelming government policy problem ?

Are you thinking that anyone here on DetroitYes is going to take you seriously at all for pulling something like this ?

You're telling us just to sit on our ass and do absolutely nothing amidst such a national Armageddon. Not even to recall our elected civic leaders. Not even a change in every level of government and political organization. Wow ! You are really something.

I was pointing out the issue from my personal experience. Not writing a thesis on how to reverse it.
