The original Chrysler ad was awesome. Everybody jumped on the hometown Detroit theme now with local shots of their cars. I think they've beat this horse to death now...

The best one I ever saw, I had a few 240's, one 260 and one 280. By time the 280 got here it was a dog, kept it 3 months and sold it at a great loss. Switched back to the only car I could ever love! http://m.youtube.com/#/watch?v=HfXd9...%3DHfXd9q0c5Oc

Very nice I have not seen that in a long time. I also like the Head Skis in the promo. I dated a gal in college whose father helped to produce that promo he still lives in Grosse Pointe.

I love the way he overtakes the powder blue station wagon, no sweat.

A 390HP 440 Six Pack GTX better overtake a station wagon! Although I like that the SW was a Ford.

I think it had less to do with the GTX's horsepower than the Ford being a powder blue.

When I was in high school, we had a Zephyr wagon with a V8 - and the V8 had an "experimental" fuel system [[Ford, at the time, would occasionally throw odd things into exec. lease cars for real world testing). I pulled up to a a stoplight and there was a guy in a Trans Am next to a Porsche 944 Turbo, and they were going for it. I calmly beat both of them. The looks on their faces was priceless

I forgot about that commercial. I loved it, never understood the "controversy" around it. The actress who played the fairy was cute, and now she looks familiar.
