Hard to believe he made those comments on abortion. Of course he’s entitled to his opinion, but I didn’t think he would voice them. Makes me think that perhaps he has an ulterior motive, like at this point he wants out.

His prerogative I'm thinking [[re. his thoughts on the subject):

I certainly appreciate him speaking out. He is entitled, not only to have an opinion, but to speak it. I doubt very much that this indicates any desire of his to get out...of coaching...or coaching at Michigan.
He's open about his religious beliefs, so that is hardly a surprise.
I have NEVER had an anti-abortion person accurately state ANYWHERE in the Bible where it mentions abortion being wrong. I can identify numerous places where it clearly defines "the fruit of her womb" as less than a living infant - injuring a woman to the point where she miscarries is fined like a property crime, whereas death of a new born infant is homicide. The Bible also states that a woman suspected of infidelity should be given a concoction that was a folk abortifacient by a priest, and if she miscarries, it is proof that she was cheating.
