We also have a $77.6m indoor waterpark being built in downtown, which is a ridiculous amount of taxpayer cash for an eyesore. http://blogs.windsorstar.com/2012/12...tre-fantastic/
Other developments:
W-E Parkway
New Windsor Jail
Schlegal Villages long term care home at St. Clair College
New Windsor Star HQ in downtown
Detroit - Windsor Tunnel plaza expansion
St. Clair College Sportsplex
New HMCS Hunter building in Sandwich
University of Windsor School of Engineering Building
University of Windsor Visitor's Centre/Campus Police
University of Windsor 7 storey parking garage
Don't forget the most important development in decades - Target in Windsor at Devonshire Mall!
Also a Dollar Tree where everything's $1.25!
that is one homely building!
The big news today is the proposal to build a Greek Community Centre and Greek Orthodox church on the land that Grace Hospital currently sits on.
WOW thanks everyone ! it's interesting to hear what is going on on the other side of the river.
Good to hear what's going on .
Windsor's Mayor is now proposing a new "Greektown" for the former Grace Hospital site [[located on University Avenue between downtown and the University of Windsor).
In addition to a new Byzantine church and community center, architectural renderings include new street level and second and third storey office/residential buildings, senior's townhouses and an Athenian square outdoor plaza. http://blogs.windsorstar.com/2013/02...town-proposal/
