The injuries that Ms. Conyers sustained as a result of her Cobo "fall" might help explain her extended medical leave a few months ago. She vaguely alluded to having surgery, but never provided any further detail. At the time, it seemed highly likely that she was malingering, but recent revelations by Mr. Josar suggest that she may have gotten a bum rap.
