One of two outstanding railroad station/terminals designed by the New York firm of Warren & Wetmore turns 100 on 2/1/13. Grand Central Terminal along with the Michigan Central Station were both occupied in 1913. Its interesting that both buildings had the firm of Reed & Stem as part of the team of architects.
While we have tours of the ruins of the MCS, NYC gets to revel in its beautifully restored/maintained terminal! For those interested the celebration starts at 10:AM 2/1/13.
