I am curious as to what you guys think about the outer areas of Detroit. I have looked at Dearborn and there are some nice apartments over there. Also heard Troy isn't that bad of an area. We may be young but we don't head out to the bars or clubs like most younger people do so nightlife isn't that big of an issue. Hopefully I can get some good feedback. And if you need more info just ask away. Thanks in advance.

We need more info. Sounds like you definitely want to rent? Do you want to duplicate your quiet suburban life now or do you want something with a little more action. Both Dearborn and Troy are busier suburbs with a lot of commercial areas. If you go further south into southern Wayne county you are going to get more quiet and rural and the same with northern Macomb and Oakland counties. As a general rule any suburb within twenty miles of downtown I would not call having the "quiet lifestyle" you may be used to.
