This photo was posted on Shorpy today - taken in 1912. Says the unidentified, factory building is in Detroit and built by the A.J. Smith Construction Co.
Some clues:
At the intersection of several street car tracks
Distinctive ironwork and tiles around the front entrance
Horse have not yet replaced cars
