A 5-year lease? Now that's NO pop-up.
The lofts do not belong to Willy.

Finally a sports apparel store in Detroit. It has been years. Atheletes Foot was the last one in the downtown/midtown area.
How long have Rundetroit been in business? Where are they currently located?
"Images of America" published a very good photo book of the Cass Corridor, including a picture of the Willys lofts. I'm glad to see that the neighborhood is doing so much better than it did in the l970s.

In the case of
Ford
Meijer and
Chrysler
that was the surname of the owner/founder. Being a lifelong resident of the region I understand that we add the possesive 's to the name.
The Willys lofts derive their name from the fact that the building was once the service facility for Willys-Overland cars, named for John North Willys [[pronounced "Willis") not someone whose first or last name is Willy.
