Default The secret life of Jehovah's Witnesses.

Most people want to know where did this sect called Jehovah's Witnesses came from. It start in the mid 1870s founded by Charles Taze Russell after he founded the Zion Watch Tower Tract Society, a bible reading club.

Here's how Pastor Russell interpret the coming of Christ:

Jehovah Witnesses believed that Jesus Christ is a spirit creature, a super angel, the first creation of God; who prior to come to Earth as a man; existed in Heaven as Michael, the Archangel. Jesus started out as the 'Logos' or Michael, the Archangel. Jesus came to Earth born out the womb of the virgin Mary. While grewing up, Jesus was a perfect sinless man. In order to become Christ, the Messiah. He must be baptized, by John, The Baptist.

Jehovah's Witnesses believed that the Christian Cross is not the symbol of their denominational religion because is based out of Roman punishment of cruxification of criminals and fanatics.

They believed that Jesus died on the big wooden stake. His body was taken to a tomb where God took him away forever. Later God recreated his son Jesus and was sent back on Earth in many incarnate forms to tell his disciples that he had be resurrected. Then God took them away to Heaven and was appointed as Michael, the Archangel and recieve his throne of judgement. Jesus will never again return to Earth in visible form, but instead ruled invisibly from Heaven.

When the end times come, Jesus will execute judgement upon mankind. The unrighteous will be totally by the brightness of coming. The remaining 144,000 Jehovah's Witnesses will rule with him in Heaven.

Jehovah's Witnesses do door to door evangelical services. They don't vote, give in to blood transfusions, serve in any armed forces, salute any foriegn powers and celebrate holidays even birthdays. Jehovah's Witnesses don't even attend other places of worship [[I.E. Churches, Cathedrals, Synagogues, Mosques and other clubs). Jehovah's Witnesses cannot interact with any worldy or secular activities. Jehovah's Witnesses can partake in Holy Communion, but only the greatest ones who did the God's work are invited in. The least of the members cannot.

For over 140 years, Jehovah's Witnesses predicted the end of the world. They say that the world would end of 1914, 1925 and even 1975. But sign of the coming apocalypse didn't came and they are working on another year, time and hour for the end times.

They were persecuted in some nations and few negotiated in politics.

    Any thoughts?
