When I was in NYC, they had a small problem with rabies in foxes. They dropped vaccine baits for the foxes. goodbye fox rabies problem. Unfortunately, the vaccine they used for the foxes had the unfortunate trait of giving rabies to raccoons. hello 5-times as big raccoon rabies problem
