Detroit Police officers hear more proposed cuts after mediation meeting with Detroit

This is incredibly sad to hear. Although, not surprising. When is the madness going to stop? One day someone from the top will need our boys in blue or our firefighters and they won't be able to respond due to all the drastic budget cuts to the most needed of our public services.

City was spending more than it was bringing in and wasn't able to correct the problem. Now I can only imagine the interest it pays on that debt it carries. Im surprised there is anything at all left to administrate the city. This isn't about punishing the police and fire departments. This is the last area any elected public official wants to cut. So unpopular. We knew it was going to happen.

Better off quitting and joining animal control instead. Assuming they feel like they have to catch something or other. Dog may try and bite you on the ass but at least you can count on it not shooting you.
