Is there a formula for figuring out address changes, or are the kindly DYes folks that answer those questions using the two applicable city directories?

There is a formula but its not accurate at all. I have a conversion table but its 32MB and to big to make available here. Burton has the matrix also you can always email them or just post the address here and someone will give you the post 1921 address.
Here's a link to the renumbering chart and some other stuff that I got from Hornwrecker, I think.

I wouldn't wish to push the good graces of the forum folks. I'm mapping out my ancestors places of residence....there were many of them, a few of them liked to move a bit.
Is the PDF file the conversion file you spoke of?
