2009 DETROIT UNLIMITED HYDROPLANE RACES

The event is Sunday, July 12 from 10:00 a.m. to the end of the races in late afternoon at their historic, riverside Detroit home. The party is a benefit for my Charter Commission election campaign. Join us for an exciting day at this internationally renowned racing thunderfest, where the hydroplanes roar by so close to the shoreline that you may be sprayed by their soaring roostertails, and enjoy a delicious lunch served in beautiful, landscaped gardens. Bring your family, friends, and work colleagues. We encourage you to use the party as an opportunity for personal/family/client entertaining and business development. THE PARTY
Included are:
-private, riverside, landscaped grounds [[80’ x 300’) from which to view the races, located across the Detroit River from the Detroit Yacht Club and close to the finish line with a spectacular, panoramic view of the entire course;
-picnic lunch of grilled hamburgers [[veggie option available), side dishes, dessert, bottled water;
-clean, outdoor restroom facilities.
Please bring:
-lawn chairs for seating for your group;
-any snacks or beverages you might like for the day;
-the smallest car possible, for lawn parking on a space-available basis, weather permitting.

TICKETS ARE FOR A MINIMUM DONATION OF $35 PER TICKET, non-refundable and pre-paid only BY JULY 5. Tickets include complete party information. Your canceled check serves as your receipt. There is a limited Michigan state income tax subtraction for political contributions, as permitted by law. Each guest must have a ticket for admission, including children. We expect an early sell-out, so please order your tickets ASAP.
