Camping - it used to be a few friends out in the woods , now it's a loud night at the Red Roof Inn. Stepping around hookers And crack.
I made reservations at a local campground, minus a hot shower. $25/ night + entry fee.`

You couldn't pay me to do much camping at this point! Folks bringing their street crap and insane mentality with them, and you have the deer ticks too. Umm, uh-no, thanks.

I still want the outdoors, but the political pain in the ass that goes with it is insufferable.
    Thanks - Lansing.

Local blab site I belong to is always asking for recommendations for plumbers, electricians, car repair, yada yada. It makes me so glad that I worked for Fromm's Hardware in high school and while at WSU for three years. Learned more in that store than anything in school for practical matters. I can't recall ever hiring an electrician or plumber in my adult life, and used to do all my car repairs until they all got computerized.

Eric Fromm was the owner. Had seven stores; the main one being in Highland Park on Woodward. Long gone, but darn it.......Thank you, Eric, for the best darn education a young man could get.

You graduated from the Academy the year I was born. And I thought I was too old. You're spry and happy there in the desert. Just keep your change in your pockets.

Thanks much. But must admit to dropping an occasional twenty or so into the local joints. It's fun, though.

WCMZ, the local public TV station has finally been shut down by the Republicans. It took 30 years, but they won. Way to go mid- Michigan.
Now get your true information from a politician.

Fake news, so sad, fake fake fake, sad, sad, sad, news media.

It wasn't the politicians that shut it down; it was the greed at CMU who owned the bandwidth. They sold the bandwidth to the FCC for millions of dollars so that it can be used for wireless. They kept the main TV station, WCMU and the other offshoots; they just screwed Flint and the all the cable watchers who used to be able to access it

Even the genius people at Microsoft don't know how to add a website to the new Win10 upgrade start menu. I had to reload after a crash, and am now lost into the ozone again. [[Commander Cody).

And I also mourn the loss of WCMZ. At least they had a slight various programming to WTVS.

Okay, maybe not Republicans per se, but an extremely Republican FCC, auctioning off to the richest corporations.

And they have the idea, that you would be more than happy watching the content on a 5" screen, rather than a 50" screen. On a megacorp bandwidth. Okay, bring it on, pretty soon we will have nothing but free
3D porn. Okay, I take that back - Damn.

Don't ask me, but how many of you out there would eat raw oysters, or "Rocky mountain oysters"? Why are there so many options out there?
I've eaten raw bear meat, but only because he was not looking at me.
Also, hillbilly sushi, which is pickled carp. And Lion I guess one time. Tasted like my cat.

Any other past Midwestern non fare?

I want nothing raw outside of veggies, grains and the like.

I've tried to adhere to the late Dick Gregory theory on eating meat [[paraphrased) "...If you're going to kill it, COOK IT!"

I hear the reason they can sell unrefrigerated eggs in Europe is because they keep their chickens in healthy conditions. We don't.

Raw oysters and "Rocky Mountain Oysters" are not even in the same ball park. The first one have a shell and come from the sea; the second come from between a sheeps hind legs.

Yep. And not just Europe. People safely store their eggs unrefrigerated most other places in the world.

It's not just the unsanitary conditions at US egg farms, it's how the eggs are processed as a consequence of those terrible conditions. Eggs from US egg factory farms are covered in filth and must be power-washed to get them clean. Doing so removes the cuticle that covers the egg, and which ordinarily provides natural antibiotic defense. Without that cuticle the eggs need refrigeration.

Yet even with rigorous refrigeration we still see billions of eggs recalled in the US.

Here are just a few examples:

Last month 206,000,000 eggs produced by Rose Acre Farms were recalled due to salmonella:

Walmart, Food Lion, and other grocery chains are recalling more than 206 million eggs after a salmonella outbreak
    http://www.businessinsider.com/egg-r...monella-2018-4

In 2010 550,000,000 produced at Wright County Egg and Hillandale Farms, both owned by DeCoster Egg Farms, were recalled due to Salmonella. Thousands were sickened first:

Farm in egg recall hit by salmonella before outbreak, lawmakers say
    http://www.cnn.com/2010/HEALTH/09/14...ess/index.html

Then later that year 288,000 eggs produced by Cal-Maine Foods were recalled due to Salmonella:

    Salmonella Scare Prompts Egg Recall
    https://www.cbsnews.com/news/salmone...ts-egg-recall/

And so on, and so on...

The father and son team in charge of DeCoster Egg farms were ultimately convicted of crimes and sent to prison.

Notorious egg seller ‘Jack’ DeCoster gets jail time for salmonella outbreak

    But have conditions improved?

Here's a disturbing ABC news report about the disgusting conditions captured on video at a Hillendale Farms egg factory, 5 years after more than half a billion of their eggs were recalled:

Well, thanks for filling in all the details!

You'd think instead of dealing with all those problems we'd just copy the successful countries. But no, apparently it's all about the money.

I will not eat any leafy vegetable that I did not grow, except spinach, which I cook.

Jimaz, Your cartoon reminds me of why some farmers who use sickle bar mower tractor attachments have dogs named "Tripod".

I'm going to burst, unless I tell someone. There is a trailer on YouTube that has a ADULT R rated, muppet movie. Due this summer. A list actors, include Mellissa McCarthy. And others. Imagine Muppet hookers, strippers, and detective Muppets. This was the funniest movie trailer I've seen in my life.

Catch phrase " No sesame. all street"

I'll buy that. Silly string cum shots.

Search " The happy time murders"

Finally- a movie for me to laugh at.

    This is on Netflix Red.

I've noticed more sexuality and adult subjects are being infused into cartoons. And the kids, especially young teens will find a way to see the Adult Rated stuff that's animated particularly.

Everything now is so easily hacked. Just give up and give them all your personal info.

    Corporate already does.
