None of those apply to President Obama or...this is a new one...George Bush!

Regarding all those errors, perhaps one should consider going back for one's GED.

The fringe of this country has always been scary - they’re a noisy, mean lot but certainly aren’t a majority of Americans. - but they ought to make peace with another four years of Obama. That's what they get for frothing at the mouth and freaking everybody out and turning their already robotic, animal-abusing candidate into a babbling idiot, trying to convince the troglodytes he's a snakehandling Klansman like them.
Really government control of capitol is the basic definition of socialism. Every move this president makes is in effort to control.. To have a top down government centered control of wealth. The stimulus is a great example of that for Obama and Bush with TARP. It was the redistribution of our tax dollars or OUR capital to who the government seen fit to give it. while the class warfare isn't socialism per se it is a tactic used by now socialist to rally their base.. those oppressed people who deserve what another man gave a portion of his life to earn. The cap and trade that they the democrats tried to push same thing.. The taking of capitol to redistribute. . Thats the part people really feel upset about hearing that president is being called what he is. They don't like to know what they really are. Lazy people who want what another man earned. Ultimately I dont care what Obama zombies think, because they support a man who believes wholeheartedly in government sanctioned theft. .

Pure hogwash. Just love it when regular folks talk about THEIR Capitol. Like they have any capitol to control. Especially when corporations are really running the show.

do you know what an apologist is? pretty much the opposite of this. can't blame that, or "if there is errors," on a smart phone.

PS - there is NO accepted definition of socialism that accurately describes any western economy, not even the Scandinavian ones. to the right-wing nut jobs, socialism would be defined as "anything that Kenyan does." Obama isn't even a liberal in the global sense of the word. He's more conservative than Eisenhower, T. Roosevelt, A. Lincoln, R. Nixon and not too far to the left of B Goldwater and B. Dole, GHW and GW Bush. It only seems that way when one party thinks "moderate conservatism" is too far to the left [[witness Luger in Indiana)

I need to confess, it's all true. Just got back from my secret Gotta Hate The Black Man In The White House Meeting, and I realized that we were being too exteme. Thanks, all, for helping me see the light. Now I am going to donate $3 to try and win a dinner with Barack & Michelle & celebrity friends. While there, I'll let him know he's doing a terrific job. After that, I begin my campaign to repeal that silly 22nd Amendment!

It's boggles my mind when people try and pretend that whats currently going on is simply water under the bridge politics. Cut the bullshit, people who do that like to try and put on blinders and act like nothing out of the ordinary is being said. Like Mr.Feiger said, there are those who have a problem with a black President in the Whitehouse, period.

The gist of this ridiculous thread, inspired by Fieger's "I need a headline" ad, is that Obama opponents like me are inspired by racism. It's so stupid that I am actually not insulted by it. Most conservatives [[and most liberals I know, too) aren't racist. I would say a tiny fraction of either side of the aisle is motivated good or bad by race. I see neither Fieger nor anyone else on the left pointing out how spectacular Barack Obama is. Without having achievement-related reasons to support Obama, a fringe [[who post on DY in higher numbers than they are in the population, I think) knee-jerks to the cover-all reason that the President is opposed because he is black. I do like "the blacks" as you say, every bit as much as I like "the whites." If I fail at something, I don't expect people to say, "Well, he's only failed because people don't like him because he's fat." It's irrelevant to my accomplishments and failures. Hell, I could make a compelling argument that the Obama adminstration is against fat people! But that is a topic for another thread.

If you aren't in that category, what does this have to do with you? The point of this thread is that there ARE people who do feel that way.

Those people make me laugh. A "communist Muslim" is an oxymoron. If that were the case, that one could be a communist AND a Muslim, then why did the Afghanis fight against the Soviets. They would have welcomed them with open arms. In fact, wouldn't most of the Middle East have just joined with Moscow to create a great Soviet Muslim state.

And MikeyinBrooklyn, I truly believe [[as if I matter, of course) that you are not a racist, but a formidable intellectual conservative. Unfortunately, the crazies of the conservative Republican base have been shown to light, those with such vitriol against our president unprecedented before in American political history. Never before has there been such an opposition to a President to make him one-term, and them be so open about it. It used to be that we all just worked together. And when election time came around, we challenged each other in a civil way. But the GOP has been campaigning against the administration since January 21, 2009.

Fieger has a special perspective because he is white.

Goggy gee, I thought I had a special perspective because I was white. How come what I see driving the election is not what he sees? My perspective is not special enough?

I like how people in this thread suggest that only Democratic Presidents get blocked at every turn; in fact, so do Republican Presidents. Its part of American pluralistic democracy - you make your case and oppose those who disagree.

That's interesting because most conservatives [[and most liberals I know, too) are racist.

I may suggest that those who disagree are probably racist themselves, but are in denial. Those same people could accuse me of having a white guilt complex. Back and forth it goes.

Feiger is a multi-millionaire who distorts events to fit his reality. No different then Matty Maroun, Don Trump, the Kochs, George Soros or any number of megalomaniacs who have polluted the airwaves with their messianic singularities.

They craft their messages by using just enough truth to sway the weak-minded to their side. Those who find strength in their messages are to be pitied for their risible understanding of an issue and general ignorance of how the public square has become a trough of effluence.

Fieger is afflicted with a special sort of dementia that many hardcore liberals often suffer, its called "SocialSuperiority-I-said-it-so-it-makes-it-so...eyetess" clinical studies have shown that when liberals [[especially those with very funky out of date hair styles) reach a certain level of consciousnesses they are able to transcend what us mere mortal working stiffs only dream of being able to comprehend or understand, so they explain to us what is actually happening.

Give or take a few percentage points half the people will like Obama and the other half won't like Obama for a variety of reasons. Whether its racism or policy disagreements what Obama is going thru is pretty much what most presidential candidates go thru of course minus the racism.

Obama's challenge is to make sure more people like him than dislike him in the states with the highest electoral college electors.

Very well stated G! A bit of 'truth' can go along way! For some....

Blacks [[um, there are black dems who are ALSO critical of the POTUS and his policies) and whites who pose reasonable concern and criticism of the Obama admin better have a thick skin and not cower because Fieger and other high profile persons cast a wide you're 'racist' net!
