Does anybody know when the WXYZ Translux sign on top of the Maccabees building was dismantled? When it was unveiled in 1949, it held the record for the world's largest electric motion sign, at 90 feet by 7 feet. The sign carried commercials, time, weather and WXYZ programming information.
