Detroit— Former Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick has complained to state prison officials about performing 16 hours of community service a month and is worried he will be sent back to prison, according to emails obtained by The Detroit News.
Kilpatrick made the complaint in an email sent to Michigan prison officials recently and backed away from accepting responsibility for a probation violation that sent him to state prison in 2010.
