I absolutely love that chimney.
2494 Chicago Blvd. also has a reverse, fraternal twin on Boston Blvd. several houses east of Rosa Parks.

The print reads "steel and brick" construction,it would be cool to see the frame work blueprints on that one.
The original intent seems to show the top section of the chimney non painted,looks like they followed that which is nice.

I've always been a fan of Allen W. Eckhart. whose pre - 1800 and post 1800 history of Detroit is amazing with just the footnotes.
Good luck with the finding the stuff now.
