Thx for the update. I had a feeling 705 might a design of his. I will add this to the growing list of Zisler designs. The image of Zisler looks like a classic 1930's movie star photograph, very nice!

While chatting with my wife recently and remarked that a good friend's childhood home had been designed by John Pottle. My wife then blurts out that he had been a very good friend of her father. I just find this out after 20 years of marriage.

Is there a 6th Woodward house? At the south east corner of Ferry and Woodward there is a parking garage that blocks the front of a house, I think taking up its front yard. Its the first house on the south side of Ferry. I don't have a photo of it, but do have one of its coach house behind [[to the east).

Looks like they were in competition to see how many different architectural styles could be incorporated into one house. Which kinda makes it neat in its own way.

St. Columba's Parish Building is well known eastside landmark along with its now razed twin on the westside. I have been driving by the building in the image for many years. While doing a little research on another building I ran across the information on this terrific building. First to build a Parish Building was Epiphany Episcopal Church followed by St. Columba constructing a similar style building a few years later in 1923. SHG did the design work for Epiphany.

I've only been seeing links to the pics and not embedded pics in the threads for the last couple of weeks. Is it like that for everyone or have I altered my display settings somehow?
