Give me a break, What left in Detroit a dozen good neighborhoods, who the fuck would wanna live next to empty lots and burned down houses, no streetlights, poor police presence, crappy schools, crackheads wandering around,
Most who can leave, and no one replaces them, do you really blame them, I don't

To be as honest and sincere with you as possible regarding this discussion, I believe Buy Americans comments are based on his personal life experience both serving the residents of Detroit as a Firefighter and a Father and Husband who stuck it out and raised a family in Detroit. He is just as entitled to his opinion as you are, and all things being equal...I if I were to take his comments on this forum in totality I would say they are rife with love and admiration for the city and sadness over what happened to it by those who failed to nurture and protect it. You were the one who took this discussion to the school yard level. I believe what happened in Detroit in the last 4 decades is a very important discussion of historical consequence.
Again Eastside Cat, thank you for your post. I appreciate the support and the argument you present to jt1 on my behalf. Also, you have read my posts and understand where I am coming from, while some want to argue about education and credentials when that has nothing to do with the situation in Detroit today.Jt1

Fortunately, this forum allows all of us to have our own opinions and I don't mind debating anything on here and I'd love to do it without personalities being attacked. I did call jt1 "ignorant" and will apologize for that.
Cling on to anyone who will Co sign your bigotry eh BA? that's wassup tho as long as you have many black friends....
I think you and Karl would have got along VERY well...
Eastpointe 68% white 27% black
Warren 71% white 15.5% black
Mt Clemens 73% white 20% black
Roseville has a historic black community north of Ten Mile Rd, east of Gratiot Ave. and south of Frazho. I called it 'Africantown'
Clinton TWP. has the 'boondocks' housing project black community on 15 Mile Rd. south of Gratiot Ave.
So what's the problem having black folks living on Macomb County? They been there and ther homestead settlements since the mid 1800s. It's the just more black folks fleeing from the madness and mayhem in Detroit's ghettohoods. So what happens of 10 to 100 black families moving into to white community? White folks slowly move out. Get use to it Macombites! Black live everywhere in your cities either you all like them or hate them. Your choice.
