Default How to spend a day/night in Windsor?

My son and daughter have never been to Windsor. He's 13, she's 20. I want to take them to spend the day and one night in a hotel.

What are some things we can do there, good reasonable but nice place to stay?

Do we all need passports now? I haven't been in about 20 years myself!

Is that Holiday Inn still there, the one that used to be right on the water? That's where I stayed when I went as a teen.

We would like to go next month. Any suggestions are appreciated!

This list of 10 things to do in Windsor, with exception of the casino, contains most of my recommendations:

And yes, you do need a passport or enhanced driver's license to cross from Detroit to Windsor:

Kathleen, if you are not a well paid PR person for the City Of Detroit, you should be.
Yes, I know that you are not, but it is true!
