Henry Ford High School shooting incident had 3 teens arrested. Michigan’s Attorney General, Mike Cox, issued the warrants for arrest for Devon Bell, 18, Derryck Brantley, 18 and William Morton, 15.

William Morton, Derryck Brantley and Devon Bell were each charged with one count of first degree murder. The first degree is premeditated murder. Bell, Brantley and Morton had additional charges of three counts of assault with intent to murder and one count of using a firearm in the commission of a felony.
Morton, the youngest at 15, was charged as an adult. William Morton faces mandatory life imprisonment if he is convicted of first degree murder. On Thursday, Oct. 16, Christopher Walker was killed in a fatal shooting. Wayne County Prosecutor Kym Worthy requested for the Michigan Attorney General to take charge of this case because Derryck Brantley’s father is a police officer in Detroit. Mike Cox’s spokesman, John Sellek explained this was the reason the Attorney General was handling the case. All three suspects – Bell, Brantley and Morton, would be arraigned on Monday in court.
