I stumbled across a listing on ebay for an 11-piece parlor suite attributed to Alexander Jackson Davis...the architect made famous for his Gothic styled residences [[see Lyndhurst in the Hudson River Vally outside NYC). The beautiful Gothic styled furniture had been in storage inside the Buhl building. The antique furniture collection is listed for $750,000! Frederick's home was on West Fort and 24th street, Christians was listed as 62 Lafeyette Ave. Very cool to see some furniture from 1848 Detroit.
