"Somehow I get the feeling you Repubs want it both ways. You blame the President if he's a Dem to prove that he's doing a bad job , yet you don't blame the President when he's a Repub for his failings, then its Congress fault"

I'm not a "Repub". More like a [[Vast) Right Wing Conservative. Repubs are Dem Lites who don't give other people's money away before they collect it. Otherwise you got it right.

I did for a moment think about calling you a neocon but I thought you might consider it an insult so I stuck with Repub. Thanks for clearing it up I'll call you a neocon from now on.

Common Dreams gets it wrong -- not how crappy ACTA is, but in the following:

ACTA, on the other hand, was already signed by the United States on Oct. 11, 2011, and Obama was not required to attain the approval of any outside authority to do so: not the Congress, not the Supreme Court, and not the American public.

The joint statement regarding the signing states the following [[which concurs with the Constitution):

For those who have already signed, the next step in bringing the ACTA into force is the deposit of instruments of ratification, acceptance, or approval. The agreement will enter into force following the deposit of the sixth such instrument.

This mistake by common dreams is bothersome because it discourages people from contacting their senators, which I hereby urge ALL of you to do

I'm not a Neocon; I'm anti - left wing/dem/socialist/big gov. and all things of the Left. But I don't mind being insulted by a political opposite. I accept it as a compliment.

Deputy United States Trade Representative Miriam Sapiro signed the Agreement on behalf of the United States
on October 1, 2011 in Tokyo.

At this point, the signature means essentially nothing. If the Prez wants the treaty ratified, there is a process for him to submit the treaty to the Senate for approval. I expect that the administration directed Sapiro to sign, but is now having second thoughts after the SOPA/PIPA fiasco. For once, I agree with rb on something - contacting your senator is a good idea.

FWIW, the US also signed the Kyoto Protocols, but those were defeated 97-0 in the Senate.

More accurately, you're AGAINST the current President, AGAINST the current Senate membership, AGAINST entitlement spending, AGAINST Occupy Wall Street [[and implicitly, free speech), and AGAINST alternative energy in the face of diminishing oil supplies.

No positive, concrete ideas on how to improve our country. Just scrap everything and let magic happen. Got it.

Is it just me or have the RWNJ's on this site finally followed their fearless leaders off the cliff?
