I'd like to see all those shops filled along Atwater in front of the Ren Cen.

That's easy STR, you take the Magic Pony Train to Unicorn Pointe then get a transfer for the Gumdrop Shuttle. Ez peazy, nice and cheezy, click your heels three times and you're there.

No dammit! Let us leave the riverfront "family friendly" and leave crap like "Hooters" to areas such as Jefferson and Mt Elliot or Grand River near the casino

My dad and I both enjoyed the Hooters in Flint a couple of years back. See? Family fun!
