    Turns out it was a bacterial issue. Not sure if it was related to sewage issues, but there was no mention of that being a cause.

    Thanks. Interesting to note that the first couple of days, "silver bass" were the most numerous among the dead fish that were washed ashore. Then, as the article stated, they were predominately small mouths, with a few perch and large mouths.

    Summer vacation has begun and the not-quite-perfectly-potty-trained kiddies are once again infiltrating Metro Beach!

    No doubt this also has played a role in the property value drop discussed in THIS article!
