Today, Councilmember Jenkins uttered these utterly forgettable words to Mayor Bing [[I think it is a problem in Detroit that people mouth such inanities and they get airtime/print). Don't we have any deeper thinkers to report on?

“Think bold; think outside the box,” Councilwoman Saunteel Jenkins urged the mayor. “There is a sense of urgency. The goal is to figure out if we are going to get out of our financial crisis on our own.”

Don't you think he knows this? I know this. "outside the box" is probably banned already.

Every murder report includes the phrase that "he was a good boy." A youjthful victim always "made people smile" or "made you laugh " if depressed.

All this stuff should be banned.
