Wow! Copper thieves who like to steal wiring should think! Electrocution is not the real danger. An Arc Flash caused by a short circuit caused their death. The heat from this is tremendous and only last for a brief period but causes all in the vicinity to burst into flames.
The following video shows the unleashed fury of an arc flash.

That picture is horrible but informative. When I was working on Tireman near Livernois, there was some poor young man who fried himself trying to steal copper from a transformer. The transformer was enclosed in a cyclone fenced box and was clearly marked with some sign that said Danger 20,000 volts or some huge number like that. This incident also shows the danger of being illiterate.
