    True Story
I have a friend who I will refer to as Bob, who had a severe stroke the first week of the new year. Bob was in a coma all of January. In February Bob woke up, but was paralyzed on his left side and could not speak. I would make a point to visit Bob every Tuesday. In March during my Tuesday visit, Bob’s two sisters, a coworker and myself were discussing Kwame’s new job and relocation to Texas, when Bob lifted a shaky index finger and cleared his throat. All conversation stopped as we all gathered around Bob to see if he needed assistance. Bob cleared his throat again and spoke his first words in 3 months, “I HATE KWAME!” The words were raspy and barely a whisper but were quite clear.

We all know that Kwame is a crook and an arrogant jerk, but why do people have to make up things like this? None of this stuff is true. Spreading lies about even BAD people indicates a lack of character.

He's trying to buy respect and he can't. I moved here 30 years ago right out of WSU and I can tell you Texans see right through this kind of thing. My sister handles the oil leases for a very wealthy family and tells me all about the filthy rich in Texas. People are laughing at Kwame behind his back. Even the Black elite are like, "Oh, no, here he comes...run!" A great many Southern Black people are consciously upwardly mobile, and he's like a blot on their collective image. People aren't fawning over him like in his posse Detroit..... he's getting no press.....wahhhh....Kwame no like! Pay attention to Kwame! Word is that Kwame insists on being called "Mr. Mayor"; you can see people cringe, say "OK", then never do it. LOL

In other words, he is more miserable than his PR lets on. Believe me, just the money will get old fast. He'll never find the respect he so craves, not here or anywhere. Like OJ and Drew Petersen before him, he will ultimately succeed in hanging himself, one way or another.

    Kwame Go Home!!

I do not know how this happened but disgraced former Detroit Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick is moving right down the street from us to Southlake...WTF? We got out of Michigan just as he was screwing up Detroit, and now he comes down here? Lovely.

    Read about it here.

That guy is a fucken [[[[[[[[[. But I will tell you one thing, Strawberry the stripper died BEFORE the Detroiters elected him into his second term...Everyone voter north of 8 mile stood in shock when the news announced his victory for the second time. Of course he was doing blow, having wild parties, and doing his assistant..the voters basically told him it was ok!

If you are going to elect an ignorant, gang bangin, coked out, gangster to run your city, then I guess you get what you had coming to you when he embezzles money, and kills a hooker in the mayors mansion...right?
Her whole blog is a hoot. Thanks, Big, you lightened my day.

Kathy, I sure hope you're right. I can't believe the people in Texas are tolerant of his BS. My only consolation in all of this is knowing the FBI will be coming in to put an end to his high-living lifestyle. I can't imagine how he could live in such a place, owing so many so much money. I couldn't live with myself.

Big, that was a great blog. Thanks so much!

Kilpatricks' new home is 6000 sq. feet ? That will give him a little more shoulder room.

bizarre... I just hope he stays in the private sector.. various folks in detroit & elsewhere losing homes, but he's living it big, and yet claiming financial hardship when it comes to restitution.. amazing.. and still there's the cult of those who support him regardless, clinging to that undercurrent in african-american culture where church/political leaders have to live so much better than their constituents..

If I were an IRS Revenue Agent, I would probably be interested in finding out how many dollar$ from Kwame's various charities and legal defense funds went straight to Kwame's back pocket as profit.

...and how much of those funds are sitting in a Dubai bank account. Let's connect the dots:
    • Kwame has been claiming he didn't have money to pay his restitution
    • Last month, Kwame asks for permission to go to Dubai, a country with "banking privacy which equals or even exceeds that of Switzerland" [[source: http://www.ptclub.com/dubaicoacc.html )
    • Shortly thereafter, Kwame is magically able to pay his restitution and afford a million dollar home
In other words, Kwame hid the loot in Dubai, but the IRS will not be able to prove it. Kwame is a first-class thug.

Okay, I'll explain it for those of you that seem to be having difficulty:

While Kwame rapes the city blind and lives like a millionaire, many of the people of Detroit stand behind him all along, bragging about all that he has done for the city and how $8 million is "just a drop in the bucket", etc. Now, don't you think if Kwame was white, there would be just a wee bit more dissatisfaction from the people of Detroit. Don't you think Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton would be marching in the streets decrying how the White Man has taken advantage of the black citizenry? But no, Kwame gets a free pass in the eyes of many Detroiters. Heck, some may even be thinking "if iz be da maya of da city can i get me one of dem muddafuggin houses?" [[Sorry, if my Ebonics is not perfect; I'm still learning.)

Probably the one person who has the most knowledge of the "pay to play" operations and other graft and corruption of the City, and is calling in favors from those who would be harmed if the federal investigations were to gain momentum.
Bobl... I think you're right on the money on that one... too many "monied" folks with their proverbial "snouts in the public trough" [[sludge hauling, waste disposal, demolition, etc..).

I bet his Grosse Pointe multi-millionaire sludge hauling buddy Anthony Soave [[who paid the tab for a private jet for Kwame's family vacation to Florida luxury spa), and long time buddy Bobby Ferguson are kickin' in their share to keep Kwame quiet...

How many thugs do you know who have the financial wherewhethal to put their money in an account in Dubai, with "banking privacy"?
While I don't endorse the antics of one K.K., why do we never hear anywhere near the hate and venom directed towards those who come up with all these subversive ideas? Like, for example, one Edward McNamara. The teacher and godfather of the Kilpatrick klan.

Copied this from detroituncovered.com. Thought it to be an interesting, novel [[albeit probably inconceivable) concept...

Here's what I think [[because you asked). I think each of us [[yes, myself included) has a hand in the Kwame Kilpatrick debacle. Let me explain. We give him TV time. We give him print. We allow him to be blogged about, editorialized, commented on, remarked about. We give our viewpoints and debate others on this "person". Every time we turn around there's some scandal or another involving this convict. He's not the idiot. Sadly folks, I'm afraid we are. He and his people will never go away until we decide that he's not worth our conversations or our written words. We have to take a stand against this evil and figure out what's good/right about our city and start the rebuilding. And here's a tidbit...the good/right is NOT the City Council, the Administration. It starts with you and me!!!!

I'm sure Kwame would like nothing more than everyone ignoring all of his misdeeds.

Thanks for posting that aprilgirl33... unfortunately that poster was talking out of both sides of his/her mouth...

Just how, pray tell, can one take a stand against the "evil" without talking about it... you can't!!
