I like the lights, although it was too snowy for me to see them today. I agree with others, the RenCen is UGLY, especially on the inside concrete weirdness [[although I've only seen the Marriott and the concourses).

The most disappointing part of it for me is that the RenCen feels like an island, and not part of the CBD. It's retail is deep within its guts, it's not easy to walk to [[Jefferson is two-phase crossing unless you run full tilt). It's basically it's own self-contained mega-campus, and isn't a cog in the downtown machine.

Don't get me wrong, I'd rather have it there than in the suburbs, but I just wish it was more integrated with the CBD.
