A few years ago I purchased this neon sign, along with another matching sign that says "HAMBURGS", at an Eastpointe yard sale. The owner stated that the twin signs hung for years in an East Detroit restaurant, but he didn't know the name or location. The Art Deco case dates the signs to the 1920s or 30s, but I'll bet that they were in service at least into the 1960s. I'm hoping that someone can identify the name and location of the restaurant where these signs greeted hungry customers.
