Anything other than the Lafayette or American coney island. They have become soup kitchens. Lousy food, awful service and migrant employees who can't speak or understand English. Sorry but time for a change.

They understand English - they're probably just ignoring you because you're obnoxious. They're also actually pretty nice guys. They showed me around the basement in the mysterious "employees only" areas. A little friendliness goes a long way.

You're the same bundle of joy who decried Hamtramck as a "ghetto full of closed churches." when someone on the board pointed out they couldnt think of a single closed church in Hamtramck, you lamented how you couldn't just walk into a Catholic church at any hour of the day or night, which is, according to you, because Hamtramck is so crime-ridden. Right.

The service at Lafayette or American is worth the whole visit. You better know what your ordering or you will get the look. Watching people order is so cool and always entertaining.

I recommend Starters Bar on Woodward just South of the Whitney Restaurant. Very good food and reasonable prices...
