I knew that he was pulling my leg that is why I had said that he claim that Dollar General is a better store. I wonder if the owner of the mall had asked Family Dollar to move into the space. It is sad that the only strip mall in the downtown area doesn't have good stores to meet the needs or the people surround it and also pull in a downtown customer base.

Regardless of what you folks think a FD or DG will be well used by those who live in or near the CBD. It has most of the basics and package sizes suitable for apartment dwellers. You don't want your 800 sq ft crib to be full of things like 48 packs of toilet paper and 12 packs of paper towels.

Another important aspect is that you can get in and out of one quickly, and it provides jobs and another way of keeping money within the imediate area in which you live.
