We'll be there for sure, Jimg. It'll be great to see you again.
Amazing lineup this year, as usual.
Cheers!
See you there, Jim [[and Kathleen, and everybody else ...)
I hate crowds and prefer to listen to music with total silence around me [[an experience which is out-of-the-question anywhere inside of the city limits,) but seeing that Dave Holland is going to appear has motivated me to consider a run down there.
BTW, if anyone would like to know just why I think so highly of Dave Holland, feel free to ask, but I warn you that no post of mine ever comes in the form of a single sentence.
Heh. Leave it to you, Pam, to immediately fasten on my little self-indulgent stunt.
Nice piece in Detroit Model D this week about Jimg and his contributions to documenting Detroit's Jazz History....

Hope to see you and Vic and others this weekend at the Jazz Fest!!
Ravine, I'd love to hear about Dave Holland.
Just got home from today's Jazz Fest experience...
Vic: Saw you from afar at the Johnnie Bassett performance this afternoon, but didn't see you around the other stages as we cruised around the festival.
Jimg: Stopped by the Jazz Talk tent a couple times but didn't see you. We did say hi to Lars.
