    Carol Duvall
    John Kelly and Marilyn Turner
Irving Nussbaum [[New York Carpet World)

    Willie Horton

His home runs while playing ball for the Detroit Public Schools are legendary.

My father played against "Prince" Hal Newhauser, arguably the best ball player to come out of Detroit, but he is in the real Hall of Fame, so I think Horton would qualify for our "sail under the radar" HOF.

    Harry Bennett.

An astounding thug who controlled and looted one of the largest corporations in the USA is largely unknown outside of Metro Detroit.

This is going to be a wax museum, right?

    Good thread.
Hes still alive, around, and broadcasting. Peter Werbe, as a right winger would say about many of us here "They've been Werebe'd"

Almost a Detroiter, Bozo the clown. My fav show growing up.

    L. Brooks Patterson, The Electrifying Mojo, White Boy Rick, and Martha Jean the Queen. I would also toss in Mike Illich. As big as Illich is around here, he's not known nationally like Jerry Jones, Mark Cuban or even Huizinga.
