It's harder to find similarities than differences....
Though it's amazing that the pattern of the walk paths in the forecourt of the station did not change at all in the years past, safe for the northern part.
I'm surprised none of these amazing machines survived.
This was clearly an inspiration to the Dutch intercity trains, which were also equiped with clamshell doors on the front to connect several trains. [[This practice is now abandoned and the doors have been replaced with plastic non opening panels. These trains lack the tilting mechanism that the Amtrak machines had. It's not nessessary over here since most of the country is quite.... flat.)
