Sounds right. Looks like reactive pylons up in front. If it were scrappers, there'd be nothing up front. If it were a real job, there'd probably be a covered walkway.

Thats one of those John F Ivory storage places thats are scattered throughout the City. If you've seen what they have done to the old Cigar factory on Michigan and Junction you will have some idea whet this could look like.
Did you see a sign in front of the place?
The brick cladding had been coming away from the structure for a long time. Just before these large sections fell, it had bulged out a considerable distance from the structure--much like the cladding on the Wurlitzer Building doing.
