I was riding around the eastside of Detroit and had noticed that most of the vacant lots were finally mowed. The large sections of plowed vacant lots gives the eastside a nice greenery appearance. The lots should be mowed often to keep giving areas that countryside feeling when driving through them. Hire private individuals to cut the lots plowed if not making the owners of the lots to keep them cut.If empty buildings downtown are getting a temporary facelift on their storefront until a developer does somethin with them; why can't the lots be kept cut to make some areas look a little more attractive to those who are driving through them. At least until a developer buys the land or let the upkeeping of the vacant lots and land be the beginning of urban parks and farmland
