there is a mention by Rochelle Collins on how the mayor's office worked with the Legislature on the bill that gave dictatorial powers to the EM. [[noticed they are no longer the emergency financial manager now they are just the emergency manager)

I remember Republicans in the Senate was saying that the former EFM, Robert Bobb needed more authority because the school board had beaten Bobb in court so they pushed for the bill so that "Bobb" could push his agenda with no interference. I have always thought that the bill was written for Detroit city, not Detroit schools and it is started to look that way. What do you think?
