Hey all - there is a huge push on right now to resurrect the currently scheduled to be closed Catherine Ferguson Academy. If you give a hoot about this school, and know some people who do - PLEASE hit the social media and "like" the "Save-the-Catherine-Ferguson-Academy-Detroit" page. They are trying to get national coverage to overcome the media blackout about this issue in Michigan.
Our local media, MLIVE and everybody else in corporate news sucked a big one on this issue, by ignoring it, or playing dumb to pander to privatization efforts.
