It is a neat old building with alot of history, I was interested in it myself but they were asking a little to much for it in my opinion. It was picked up by a church group a few months ago.

This post is spot on! Most of the gas stations in Detroit are filthy and run down. These business owners should be forced to keep them clean and in good repair but they aren't. They clearly don't...
Yep right across the street from the police station. I've seen people gathering bricks there the last couple of days with the demo crew still on site. I would just roll up and ask permission, the...
A factory building just got torn down on Plymouth road about 6 blocks East of Evergreen. Lots of bricks still there but they are cleaning it up fast.

Fast Freddy was da man!
The one legged hooker in a wheelchair ,on Fenkell, flashing her boobs as I went by. I actually went around the corner and drove by again because I couldn't believe what I just saw...

Good luck on your new venture Steve. You are needed here so don't give up.
The negativity here is amazing. Tom Wilson was the head guy in a well run organization for many years. His coming to Detroit to work for the Illitch family is a good deal for everyone involved...
Stunning photograph!
I've got a relative that has been trying to open up a restaurant in Detroit for almost a year now. The place is [[and has been) complete for almost 6 months but for whatever reason the city is...
Wow Thanks for this post! I have been back in town now for about 3 1/2 years after being on the West Coast for 9 years and I have been trying to remember who sold the Boogaloo. I remembered the name...
