Eastsider here. Favorite places in the 80s for stereo stuff: Pecar was the go-to, Pointe Electronics for browsing [[too expensive) and Schaak Electronics for browsing [[they had lower-end stuff).

Yes, Eastland Macy's is down to the first and second floor only. Although the beauty salon may be open on the 4th floor. It's really odd, they just built walls around the escalators to the basement...

The two oxen and a cart statue are restored and back in their pen and the Telway at Michigan and Martin. It's been so long since I've seen them that I can't remember if they are the same ones missing...
