Does anybody know who operates the little vineyard on Bloom Street close to McNichols? I would like to take a tour if that's possible.

I was out there with my sons and I didn't even know that there was a memorial. Very moving, very well done. I was surprised to see how many people died from the virus.
The only reason I remember is because a friend of mine worked as a busboy there. I seem to remember that it was built new.
Hahaha! They're such nice guys!
Didn't Blazo's become Landmark Restaurant?
I think Diamond Lil's was at Kirby [[Gateshead) and Mack.
I was truly surprised to see the windows covered. Who paid for that?
Thanks for posting this. I went down there today. It was pretty cool.
Amen. I spend my life in a traffic jam. That's the last thing I want to do in my free time is go watch one.
What does BOLO stand for?
I personally would not like to see a bridge built. To me it would change things and the island wouldn't be as "remote". But the people who actually live on the island might have other ideas.
That's what I was thinking.
Dexlin,
Thanks for the information. I don't work that far away from there and I just wanted to see what it looked like before they start construction.
This seems like a good idea but has it been done? Would it work or would people in the market rate units not want to be in with the subsidized units?
Where is the actual location of the plaza going to be?
Every day is a great day to take off from work!
Zacha,
I had the same problem. My plumber told me to leave that door open under the sink so the heat can enter there. It has worked so far.
etbusch,
Thanks for the link. I filled out the survey. It didn't take too long. I don't understand why they can't throw in a program or two of classical music even if it's in the dead zone of...
Ann Delisi's sycophantic blather annoys me. Good grief Ann, they're just musicians! I miss Larry McDaniels.
Professor Scott,
I guess nobody read your post. We'll all just have to wait and see who's going to be able to say, "I told you so!"
Gvidas, Thanks also. I would like to ask you and Dumpling a question here . We've done some calling around and found out we can go through a broker for a cash out, or we can list it and sell it on...
Dumpling,
Thanks for that information. I'm going to look into it.

I agree about the home ownership. I remember my poor dad saying that if he had to do it over again, he'd "live in a tent." In the neighborhood where our house is, a person would have to be totally...
No we're not walking away. We couldn't do that to the neighbors. My son's still there for now. We haven't done anything with it yet. I'm just thinking to the future when my son leaves the house. ...
I've read all the posts in this thread and I'm going to try and point out, as Detroitnerd says, in neutral terms why my family and I are throwing in the towel.
We've had a house in the Cornerstone...
I can't believe it. The graffiti has been removed from the walls under the bridge. There's a little bit left on the center support. I think this is good progress. It shows that somebody out there...
